State Flower  is a new, twangy indie rock and roll project — founded by singer-songwriter Samuel Walker. Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV - formerly of a handful of local emo bands including Narrowed and Sunroom — Sam has brought into the fold drummer and producer Nick Strader (of King of Heck, Speedway) and fellow singer-songwriter Charlie Wilder to play bass and sing harmony.

Allow State Flower to introduce SHORT SWEET CRUSHING EP — their debut offering  of sticky, slammed, fuzzzzy indie rock songs the likes of Built to Spill, MJ Lenderman, and Weezer. State Flower aims and succeeds at bobbing heads or bringing tears, depending on how close you listen.
